We offer a range of structured, collaborative, and non-formal learning workshops aimed primarily at residents of the Duplek municipality aged 50 to 75, with younger generations as a secondary audience to ensure knowledge and experience are passed on. These workshops are co-funded by the Ministry of Education, Science, and Sport.
Herbal Workshop: Focuses on deepening knowledge of medicinal plants, including identification, correct usage, harvesting, creating natural cosmetics (creams, tinctures), recognizing invasive plants, categorizing plant habitats, and organizing public herbal exhibitions.
Edible Wild Plants Workshop: Introduces participants to wild, edible plants found in forests and meadows. Activities include identification, safe harvesting, culinary use, recipe creation and exchange, outdoor movement, and sharing knowledge about the local environment.
Climate-Adaptive Gardening Workshop: Educates participants on climate change and necessary gardening adaptations. Conducted on a didactic ecological farm, it covers principles of organic farming and permaculture, such as mulching, composting, crop rotation, and plant protection using mixed planting techniques.
Active and Healthy Workshop: Encourages participants to spend active time in nature, promoting cardiovascular health, circulation, endurance, self-esteem, and stress management. Inspired by Sebastian Kneipp’s philosophy, it integrates water therapy, herbs, movement, nutrition, and healthy living practices. Activities include forest walks, Kneipp hydrotherapy, barefoot walking, and sensory experiences to connect with nature.
